TurboX Easy Monitor User Guide

1.Tool Installation

TurboX Easy Monitor is web based service running on DK(DevKit) board, users just open a browser and click the mouse to remotely monitor, set, debug and test easily and rapidly.

Step 1.Get the installation package: easy-monitor.zip.

Step 2.Connect the Dev Kit board to your computer with an USB cable, and power on the target board to boot the system. Wait for several seconds then input $ adb devices. The device should be correctly detected with the following information displayed on your screen.

$ adb devices
List of devices attached
7050372c device

Step 3.Log in as root to disalbe verity check, then reboot your device.

$ adb root
$ adb disable-verity
$ adb reboot

Step 4.Remount the root path to be writable.

$ adb root
$ adb remount
$ adb shell mount -o remount -o rw /

Step 5.Install the Turbox Easy Monitor.

$ adb push easy-monitor.zip /data
$ adb shell rm -rf /data/easy-monitor/
$ adb shell unzip /data/easy-monitor.zip -d /data/

2.Launch the Service

Step 1.Check the network connection of your device, run the following command to make sure the network interface has been allocated a valid IP address.

$ adb shell ifconfig

Step 2.Run the following commands to launch the Easy Monitor service.

$ adb shell
# cd /data/easy-monitor/
# ./start_webui.sh

3.Access the Service

Step 1. Recheck IP address of your device.

$ adb shell ifconfig

Step 2.Launch browser on your PC, and navigate to http://your_device_ip:8081/, then the following page will display on your screen, which means you can access the Easy Monitor service successfully.
